NM Licensure

Requirements for Licensure
Individuals requesting licensure from the State of New Mexico must pass an examination under the guidance of the Commission of Dietetic Registration and meet educational and professional experiences outlined by the New Mexico Board of Examiners for Dietetics/Nutrition Practice.


General fees are as follows (non-refundable):

Full Licensure Application: Licensure application fee - $50

Initial License Fee - $150

Annual Renewal: Licenses is good for 1 year from date of issue and are renewed on an annual basis per individual license.

License Renewal Fees - $75
Other Fees: Duplicate License (change due to marriage, divorce etc.) - $20.00

Reinstatement of Licensure - $50.00

Mailing list - $10.00

Verification of licensure sent to another state - $10.00
